Biography:

John Visser serves as Executive Vice President of Operations for dōTERRA International, a role he assumed in May 2024 after six years as VP of Global Logistics.
Before joining dōTERRA, he spent nearly 19 years
at Walmart, Inc. in a variety of leadership positions, including Vice President roles in International Transportation, WM Central America Supply Chain, and International Fresh Food Manufacturing.
His work spanned Asia, Europe, and Latin America, with expatriate assignments in Japan and China, where he built global teams and advanced supply chain efficiency.
Earlier in his career, he worked in third-party logistics, managing cross-border operations with Mexico and supporting Walmart and other major accounts in warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
In addition to his role at dōTERRA, John serves on Brigham Young University’s Global Supply Chain Advisory Board and on the board of an e-commerce platform company. He earned a BA in Spanish Translation from BYU, an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and a Board Governance certification from Wharton.
John and his wife, Sara, are proud parents of five children and six grandchildren. He enjoys family time, and even more so when it combines good food and the outdoors!
