Biography:
Gary has more than 30 years of experience working in the financial area as an accounting manager, controller, chief financial officer, and director of finance. Before co-founding Western States Lodging & Management, Gary worked for the Marriott Corporation (1987-94) and Stott, Inc. (1985-87). While working for Marriott, he specialized in feasibility analysis and was instrumental in opening the first western-managed joint venture in Poland. Gary earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University, where he also completed post-graduate work. Gary just recently returned from serving a 3 year mission with his wife to the Scotland/Ireland Mission as Mission President.
