Biography:

John Simcox is HAPPILY RETIRED. He is a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center for Entrepreneurship. His primary business activity has been retail jewelry. The primary chain, J.C. Keepsake Diamonds, operated more than 20 stores in Colorado and Utah; other operations include Bullock & Losee Jewelers, and Brendan Jewelers. In September 1998, John sold his business to one of the largest diamond wholesalers in the world, located in Israel. He also owned and operated 8 fitness centers in the greater Denver area. John served at BYU Hawaii Mark Willes International Center for Entrepreneurship and served in a beta testing program for the Church teaching people how to be self-reliant. John and his wife, Charlene, are the proud parents of six children (1 deceased), twenty-three grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. They also served a mission to Vladivostok, Russia and the Visitor's Center at Palmyra, New York.
