Biography:
Dr. Rick C. Farr is an entrepreneur who has "volunteered" part of his time and efforts in the capacity of Assistant Director to the Center for Entrepreneurship in the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University. He received his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and both his B.S. in Economics and his Ph.D. in Business Education from Brigham Young University. Rick has also been an Entrepreneur-in-residence at UVSC. He served on a number of non-profit and for-profit boards in Utah. He has been instrumental in establishing six new-to-market high tech companies with a present combined sales volume of over $750+ million dollars. He has had extensive experience in both domestic and international business development, marketing, and sales. He has performed within a variety of corporate environments ranging from small start up companies to such large companies as Xerox Corporation and Avery Products Incorporated. Rick was one of the initial founders of the Utah Angles, a group of Independent Financial Angles supporting Utah Entrepreneurs.
