Biography:
Gary Williams is Teaching Professor in the Center for Entrepreneurship at the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University. He currently teaches courses in Entrepreneurial Strategy and Venture Capital/Private Equity and is the Advisor/Founder of Cougar Capital - a student run investment fund that focuses on seed, venture and buy out transactions. Gary is also involved in investing in new ventures. He serves on the Advisory Boards of several corporations and the National Advisory Council for the Marriott School of Management. He is the past President and CEO of Sterling Wentworth Corporation/SunGard Expert Solutions (NYSE: SDS), a market leader in the design, development and marketing of Smart Technology Solutions for the Financial Services Industry. The company marketed technology solutions throughout North America, Asia and in the UK. He enjoys the outdoors and is an avid road cyclist and mountain climber.
Debbie is a graduate of BYU with a teaching degree. She taught in several Elementary Schools, is an accomplished pianist and has taught piano. Quilting and scrapbooking are her hobbies.
Gary and Debbie have four children and fifteen grandchildren.
