Marriott School Students Selected for Princeton Conference

Ten Marriott School students will attend the national "Business Tomorrow" conference in San Francisco this October. In what is a highly competitive selection process, the Marriott School has an unusually high representation at this year's conference.

"It is an unusual case," said Din Nayeri, director for the conference. "We select students purely by merit and we do not stop selecting exceptional students just because their school is already well represented. They were all selected because of their outstanding achievements and interest in the topic."

With 140 out of 500 applicants selected to attend the conference, ten of those accepted are Marriott School students.

The conference, sponsored by the Foundation for Student Communication at Princeton University, is a forum that allows face-to-face interaction between students and nationally prominent executives. The conference consists of keynote speakers, panel discussions and break-out sessions with a 1 to 15 executive-to-student ratio.

Speakers at this year's conference include Charles Geschke, president of Adobe Systems Inc., Gary Burke, vice president of global sales for Nasdaq Stock Market and West Shell, founder and chief executive officer of Netcentives, Inc.

Marriott School students attending the conference are: Jose Gomez, Joseph Fluckiger, Michael Heywood, Rachel Foster, Rebecca Neyenhuis, Andrew Fales, Cory Wild, David Stone, Eric Jarvi, Kent Parker and Jon Mullen.
