Business management alumnus Bill Hulterstrom began his remarks at the 2026 BYU Marriott School of Business Honored Alumni Lecture with a simple observation: “At three months of age, a baby notices if you’re looking at them or not.” Hulterstrom, who serves as the president and CEO of United Way of Utah County, emphasized the importance of seeing others. “We—the human creature—never outgrow the need to be seen.”
