Ballard Center Hosts Ninth Annual Peery Film Festival

Hosted annually by BYU’s Ballard Center, the Peery Film Festival is presented to students to make them aware of a number of current social issues and invite them to consider possible solutions.

Movies for the festival are handpicked by a student team with a variety of topics, including addressing farming, medical issues, sexual assault, and refugees. This year, ten films were aired on campus, which is the greatest number of films screened in one year since the festival began.
