Students will learn about the Ballard Center’s history and mission at the "Do Good Better" exhibit opening.

The reception, hosted by the Melvin J. Ballard Center for Economic Self-Reliance, will be held on Feb. 12 from 4 – 6:30 p.m. in 3183 JFSB. Guests who preregister for the event will be entered into a drawing to win free TEDxBYU tickets.

“Do Good Better” offers historical background on the Ballard Center and its namesake Melvin J. Ballard, an apostle for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Additionally, an interactive feature teaches how to recognize organizations that are having a high impact on the world, demonstrating the positive effects that well-planned service and social innovation can have.
