The 2020–21 Williams Scholars were recently announced at a special event in the Tanner Building. This year's four recipients are Caitlin Jolley, Angela Smith, Jacob Valentine, and Logan Wooden.
Recipients of the Williams Scholars award are chosen from the MBA program at the BYU Marriott School of Business. They are recognized for their leadership, vision, innovation, motivation, and execution in the program. Each recipient was awarded $5,500.
The award was established by Gary Williams, a BYU Marriott business management alumnus, faculty member in the MBA program, and founder and faculty advisor for Cougar Capital. He served as president and CEO of Sterling Wentworth Corporation/SunGard Data Systems and is an active angel investor.
