Forbes Ranks BYU Marriott MBA No. 19

Forbes has named the MBA program at the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business No. 19 in the nation, a rise of two spots from the publication’s last ranking in 2015.

The BYU Marriott MBA was ranked No. 19 in the latest rankings by Forbes.

“I congratulate everyone associated with the BYU Marriott MBA program on their top-20 Forbes ranking,” says Lee Perry, BYU Marriott dean. “High rankings like this, and the quality of MBA programs ranked alongside BYU Marriott, provide reinforcing evidence that we are on the right track. We will continue to build a strong identity and unique institutional character among the world’s best business schools.”

Forbes’ ranking of business schools is based on the return on investment achieved by the class of 2012. Standing was based on a comparison of graduates’ earnings in their first five years out of business school to their opportunity cost (two years of forgone compensation, tuition and required fees) to arrive at a five-year MBA gain. The BYU Marriott MBA was reported as having a $64,400 five-year gain to land the No. 19 spot.

“This ranking is a tribute to our bright and accomplished students, generous and connected alumni, loyal and committed recruiters, and expert faculty and staff,” says Grant McQueen, MBA director. “I’m pleased to be part of a top-20 MBA program. I believe we can and will do even better in the future.”
