LTC Forrest "Chip" Cook was born and raised a BYU fan. But after deciding to attend college at the United States Military Academy, there was no indication that he would ever actually make it to the university he grew up loving.

The Daily Herald highlighted the strengths of BYU’s Army ROTC program, the largest such program in the nation outside of a military institution. About 50 percent of the program’s graduates rank in the top 20 percent of graduating cadets nationwide.
