- All Day: Used Furniture Distribution TNRB 360
We are allowing for BYU Marriott groups to select from used furniture to re-purpose in the Tanner Building. Please reach out to Summer Elrod for more details on how to claim.
- 7:00 am–8:00 am: Marketing & Communications Move HGB 165 (Testing Center)
Some members of our Marketing and Comms team will be located in the HGB building during construction. A small set of team members will remain in the TNRB.
Friday, May 1
- 7:00 am–8:00 am: Study Room Scheduling Updates TNRB Study Rooms
You will find our website soon reflecting a few changes:
- Updated room number
- Room closures as spaces are being used as temporary offices
- As rooms are returned back for college use we will make them available online
Saturday, May 2
- All Day: Skylight Crane Installation North East Parking Lot
To facilitate the installation of the new skylight of the east building, a crane will be staged in the parking lot area between the parking structure and the north side of the Tanner Building.
Monday, May 4
- All Day: Atrium Closure TNRB East Atrium
The atrium skylight replacement will require us to close the atrium to all public access throughout the duration of the project.
- All Day: Construction Project Opening Day: Welcome Stallings Construction TNRB South East Parking Lot
We are so happy to welcome Stallings Construction to the Tanner Building and BYU Marriott! We have been working hard to prepare our building and turn the keys over to your group to realize our planning.

- Today the 4th floor south will be officially closed for construction to begin.
- Access to the east stairwell will remain open from the 4th floor east entrance
- Access to the central elevator from the atrium will also remain open
- Access to the west building is best through floors 1-3
- West Elevator Replacement: 1 of 2 elevators remains closed
- Construction staging area located in the south side parking lot
