What are conference fees and what do they cover?

The $750 conference fee will cover all professionally guided outdoor activities, all meals on Thursday/Friday breakfast on Saturday, and light dinner on Wednesday night, as well as snacks and drinks for hiking. Accommodations at Cable Mountain Lodge are not included.

How do I get to Springdale, UT, the conference location?

To get to the conference hotel, you should fly in to either Las Vegas (LAS) or St. George (SGU). The address is 147 Zion Park Boulevard, Springdale, Utah 84767. 

Flying in to St. George: St. George is a one hour drive from Springdale. If you are flying in to St. George you can either (1) rent a car (limited availability), (2) arrange for a shuttle from St. George to and from Springdale, or (3) arrange to have BYU students drive you to and from Springdale..

Flying in to Las Vegas: Las Vegas is a 2 1/2 drive from Springdale. If you are flying in to Las Vegas you can either (1) rent a car, (2) arrange for a shuttle from Las Vegas to Springdale, or (3) arrange for a shuttle from Las Vegas to St. George where BYU students can pick you up and drive you the rest of the way to Springdale.

How do I arrange accommodations?

We have a block of rooms reserved at the Cable Mountain Lodge for the duration of the conference. Additional details on reserving rooms will be made available once we open the conference for registration.

How do I register?

Registration by invitation will begin shortly after all papers have been reviewed.
