Brian Swenson, Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, leads a team of experienced financial professionals who deliver highly customized strategies to affluent individuals, family offices, foundations, and endowments. Serving a select clientele across the Rocky Mountain region, Brian advises across equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and alternative investments

Having worked with successful entrepreneurs for nearly two decades, Brian serves as a connector and advocate for the team’s clients. Combining the talents on the team with his personal network and the vast resources of Morgan Stanley, he provides clients with guided access to the advice, intelligence, or capabilities needed to accomplish their objectives. His goal is to help them create and implement investment strategies to support the lives they envision for themselves and their families.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, Brian spent 16 years at the J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Salt Lake City, Denver, San Francisco and London. Having worked with an elite global clientele of affluent families throughout his wealth management career, he brings a unique perspective to the service of his clients. Brian began his professional career working as a Senior Assistant Controller for the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Brian earned a B.S. in management with an emphasis in Finance from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management. He is an active member of his church, serving as a mentor to several different groups. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, sports and traveling with his wife and three children.
