Keynote Speaker

Carine Clark is a four-time president and CEO of high-growth tech companies, specializing in helping companies scale. Her reputation as a data-driven marketing executive at Novell, Altiris and Symantec opened doors to lead Allegiance, MartizCX and Banyan as president and CEO. She recently accepted the Chief Executive Officer position at First Colony Mortgage, a fast growing financial services company headquartered in Utah. Previously she was the Chief Innovation Officer at Lumio HX.
She is an active angel and venture investor in SaaS software companies and supports entrepreneurs in the US, Latin America, Israel and Australia.
Carine serves as the chair of GOEO (The Utah Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity) and the executive board of Silicon Slopes, a non-profit helping Utah’s tech community thrive. Currently she’s the Executive Chairman for Domo and serves as an independent board director for Nelnet Bank. She also serves on the Salt Lake City Olympic Bid committee and works with every major university in Utah to help students be more prepared for tech jobs.
Carine has received numerous awards including the EY Entrepreneur of The Year® Award in the Utah Region and Utah Business Magazine’s CEO of the Year. In 2021 she was named Outstanding Director for a Public Company by the National Association of Corporate Directors Utah. Most recently, she was recognized for Technology Leadership at the Sundance Film Festival’s Women’s Leadership Celebration. Carine earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications and an MBA from Brigham Young University.

Heather Christensen is a Sr. Finance Manager at Adobe with nearly 12 years of experience in FP&A. Known for driving impactful change, Heather leads a team responsible for forecasting hundreds of millions of dollars, building advanced cost models, and partnering with senior leaders on key business decisions.
She holds a Bachelor’s in Finance from Brigham Young University, where she was President of the Women in Business Club. She also has an MBA from Arkansas State University, earned part-time while working at Adobe.
Heather is very passionate about empowering women in business and is committed to supporting and inspiring women to achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Heather and her husband of 12+ years are expecting their first child in August 2025. They enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, golf, pickle-ball, and wake-surfing, and love traveling and gardening as well.



Ben Hansen is a Manager of Strategic Finance at Lucid Software where he has helped grow the finance team from two to ten people over the past six years. At Lucid, he manages R&D and G&A expenses, cash flow forecasting and reporting, and board of directors materials. He graduated in 2019 from the BYU Marriott School of Business with a major in finance and a minor in computer science. He enjoys triathlon training and reading in his free time.

Jesse is an accomplished Chief Financial Officer with extensive experience in supply chain management and sourcing. A licensed CPA and holder of a Master’s degree in Accounting, Jesse has a strong track record of success in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and treasury management. Over the years, Jesse has contributed significantly to both startups and publicly traded companies, bringing expertise in driving financial strategy and operational efficiency.
Prior to stepping into the role of CFO, Jesse honed skills at EY in public accounting, where the foundation for strategic financial management was built. With a deep understanding of financial dynamics, Jesse has secured over $30 million in financing and currently plays a pivotal role in leading due diligence efforts for company acquisitions, ensuring growth and value creation for the organization.
As a strategic thinker and results-driven leader, Jesse is passionate about optimizing financial processes, driving business success, and providing visionary leadership.

After earning my Master of Accountancy from BYU in 2013, I began my career as a financial statement auditor at EY in Salt Lake City, where I spent over seven years in public accounting. I then transitioned to industry, first in a technical accounting and financial reporting role at Health Catalyst before joining Entrata. At Entrata, I initially focused on technical accounting and financial reporting before advancing to my current role as Corporate Controller.

Experienced Senior Business Analyst with a demonstrated history of working in the aviation and aerospace industry. Skilled in Budgeting, Manufacturing, Analytical Skills, Requirements Analysis, and Continuous Improvement. Strong business development professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) focused in Business Administration from University of Phoenix.

Nathan Louder is the FP&A Manager at Anglepoint. Prior to Anglepoint he worked at Dell pricing, planning, and business manager for XPS laptops. Nathan started his finance career at Ford, part of a finance rotation program working in cost financing on the Explorer, and pricing the initial launch of the Mustang Mach-E. While at Anglepoint Nathan has built the finance function including monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. Nathan resides in Eagle Mountain, and enjoys spending time with his 5 kids, coaching sports, and playing early morning basketball.

Dan is the Vice President for International Finance at Pattern, a leading eCommerce Accelerator headquartered in Lehi, UT, with global operations.
Prior to Pattern, Dan worked at Coupang, Walmart, nLight, and Intel, with notable overseas roles in South Korea, the U.K., and Germany.
Dan holds an MBA from The University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.

Joe Neff is the cofounder and past president of NEFF, a youth-oriented accessories brand. He is a retired partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he held numerous management positions. Joe has served as an adjunct professor at BYU, the University of Southern California, and DePaul University. He is the coauthor of five accounting/finance textbooks and is a frequent guest lecturer around the country. He served as president of the New York/Pennsylvania Historic Sites for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Joe earned his bachelor's degree from BYU in 1978 and his JD from Southwestern University in 1981. Joe and Karen have four children and many grandchildren.

Kent Okeson is currently the Vice President of Revenue and Corporate Strategy at Melaleuca, a leading global packaged goods company with more than $2 billion in annual sales in 19 countries and headquartered in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Kent is responsible for the North American and International Financial Analysis groups at Melaleuca. Under his leadership, the influence of the Finance group has grown and expanded, creating effective partnerships with business leaders throughout the company to ensure efficiency and profitability. This collaboration has expanded to Melaleuca’s international entities, with a dedicated Finance team and Internal Audit team in China building up their capabilities to duplicate the results of the US-based teams. Kent has also held a number of other roles at Melaleuca including Vice President of Global Finance.
Prior to joining Melaleuca, Kent worked at Ford Motor Company, where he was the Finance Supervisor responsible for Product Development on the next-generation F-150. He also served as Regional Controller for several of Ford’s sales regions and had rotations as a financial analyst in Manufacturing Finance as well as Marketing and Sales Finance. He earned his MBA from the University of Michigan and received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from BYU.


Terry Pratchett is a Managing Director within PNC Bank's Corporate Banking Group. He manages the bank's relationships with middle market and large corporate companies across Utah. Terry supports existing and prospective customers with targeted solutions to achieve their business objectives. He has 21 years' banking experience, and has worked for previous large banks such as J.P. Morgan. He received his bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University and received his Master of Business Administration degree at Wake Forest University.

Seth Sainsbury holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University. After graduation, he spent over 6 years at The Walt Disney Company, rotating through various finance and accounting positions, gaining a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Following this, Seth joined Clyde Companies as a Controller for Geneva Rock, where he spent 2 years. He then moved into a new position as Director of Finance, where he was tasked with building and leading a finance team that provided comprehensive financial business support and treasury oversight.
Currently, as the Sr. Director of Finance and Accounting at Clyde Companies, Seth oversees Finance, FP&A, and Accounting, with continued treasury oversight, driving strategic financial initiatives and ensuring robust financial management.


Andrew Smith is the senior vice president of finance for the Utah Jazz, a position he has held since 2021. Smith has been instrumental in building out the organization’s finance team, with a focus on providing data and insights to key strategic decisions and investments. In addition to his ongoing role with the Jazz, he played a key role in onboarding the new NHL franchise in 2024.
Prior to joining the Utah Jazz in 2016, Smith worked for Ernst & Young as a senior associate. He is a certified public accountant and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Brigham Young University, where he received a master’s degree in accounting.

I am a financial analyst specializing in supply chain and operations finance. Currently a Senior Supply Chain Financial Analyst at Crumbl, I own the supply chain P&L in the company and deliver analysis to leadership on ways to increase profitability in Crumbl's operations. Prior to this role, I held positions in operations finance and commercial finance at Pattern, managing the company's domestic deal desk and offering insights into e-commerce brands' financial performance.

Experienced corporate finance professional with a demonstrated history of working in the Tech industry. Skilled in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Variance Analysis, Finance, Financial Analysis, and Accounting. Strong information technology professional with a MBA focused in Finance from Brigham Young University - Marriott School of Management.

Brian is a seasoned professional with extensive experience scaling processes, improving profitability and in-depth problem solving within a growing SaaS business. Brian helped drive Omniture from a $400M business before the Adobe acquisition to a $5B+ business over 15+ years with Adobe. As such, he has significant experience managing growth and scale.
