Ben Darger
Ben Darger is from a suburb just north of New York City called Scarsdale and is studying Global Supply Chain Management. He is currently the Executive Vice President of Program Promotion for Global Supply Chain Association, and he was also part of a team that created the Women in Supply Chain Organization to celebrate and support the great women of his major. In these roles, Ben has especially enjoyed organizing the first ever Women in Supply Chain Event, as well as the Supply the Chain Activity, an attempt to break the world record for longest paper chain in an hour to increase awareness for Global Supply Chain Major. He also oversaw Instagram Takeovers for Global Supply Chain Instagram account to connect students and alumni and give students a firsthand look at possible careers in supply chain.
Ben traveled to Michigan State University to be Captain of Analytics Case Competition Team which competed in the Boxersox Undergraduate Supply Chain Challenge. He is also a participant in Future Supply Chain Leaders Program as a part of Oracle’s annual Modern Supply Chain Experience. Ben has previously interned at Savage Services and Polaris industries. Upon graduation, Ben will head back to the East Coast to begin his career in Global Supply Chain with Jet.com. Ben is humbled and grateful to be nominated for this great award.
