BYU Marriott Case Competition 2023
The Student Leadership Advisory Council (SLAC) and the National Advisory Council (NAC) are joining forces for the 2023 BYU Marriott Case Competition.
This bracket-style competition will be held on Thursday, October 19 in two rounds with the winning team presenting to the entire NAC during a luncheon on Friday. In the first-round, teams will be divided into brackets with each bracket judged by a panel comprised of industry leaders from the NAC and a member of the SLAC. Winners from each bracket will present in the final round to a panel including Dean Madrian and select members from the first-round panels.
The prizes will be as follows:
· All bracket finalist teams will receive $500
· First place will receive $5000
· Second place will receive $3000
· Third place will receive $2000
** Prize money is to be equally distributed amongst team members
The Case Details
The BYU Marriott Case Competition allows the Deans to hear ideas from the student body in order to understand the needs and wants of students. The prompt is selected by the BYU Marriott Deans in order to focus the case on topics that are important to them.
The prompt and further details will be shared at the case competition kickoff on September 27th at 6pm in W408/W410 TNRB.

About the NAC
The National Advisory Council was established to promote support the students of BYU Marriott through mentorship, internships, placement and scholarships. The NAC is comprised of industry leaders from all walks of corporate and entrepreneurial life dedicated to the success of BYU Marriott.
