The goal of BYU Analytics is to make better decisions with data. As an MBA student-run consultancy, BYU Analytics provides business insights and consulting for business partners in tech, retail, manufacturing, and other industries. BYU Analytics has worked with companies such as Adobe, Dell, Qualtrics, InsideSales.com, Symantec, Traeger Grills, IBM, Twitter, Crio Brü, Stanley Black & Decker, and Domo. Faculty advisor Jeff Dotson is a renowned expert in the field of analytics with over ten years of analytics consulting experience. Student members have previously worked in the tech, IT, manufacturing, electronics, consumer products, and consulting industries. In addition, 81 percent of participating students have international experience and speak at least two languages.
How to Join:
In order to apply, applicants will need to successfully complete MBA 560 – Business Analytics during the winter semester of their first year. Mid February there will be an information session held, discussing more about how to apply to MBA 656A – Advanced Marketing Analytics for the second year fall semester.
