Bart Stratton
Bart has over 23 years’ experience consulting clients on complex federal corporate income tax matters, including designing and implementing domestic and cross border mergers and acquisitions and tax planning strategies for domestic and multi-national corporations. Prior to coming to Los Angeles, Bart spent 8 years in PwC’s Washington National Tax office as a partner in the mergers and acquisition group.
Bart has extensive experience with assisting his clients with buy-side and sell-side due diligence, federal corporate income tax planning, obtaining private letter rulings from the IRS, structuring and executing mergers and acquisitions for multi-national corporations and consolidated groups; tax-free spin-offs; bankruptcy and debt restructuring; loss planning; and consulting on general corporate tax matters. Bart has deep experience in a broad range of industries including advising clients in the private equity, fintech, entertainment and media, technology, medical device, bio-tech and industrial, automotive, food and beverage and consumer products industries with deal values between $5 million to over $70 billion.
Bart is a member of the AICPA and past chair of the AICPA corporations and shareholders tax technical panel. Bart is a graduate of Brigham Young University and a Certified Public Accountant in California.
