Each year we hold musical auditions for students who would like to perform at convocation. If you are musically inclined and plan to attend the convocation ceremony Friday, April 24, 2026 in the Marriott Center, we invite you to audition with us!

Audition Criteria:

• Soloist or at least one ensemble member must be graduating from BYU Marriott in December 2025, April 2026, June 2026, or August 2026
• Soloist, group ensemble, instrumental, vocal with live accompaniment or recorded track, or a cappella are all welcomed
• Performance quality
• Short (3-5 minutes)
• Uplifting and celebratory in nature. Since this is not a church service, we tend to avoid hymns unless the performance is truly impressive and fits the theme of the event
• Multiple genres are welcome (pop, classical, contemporary, musical theatre, etc.). No love and romance songs
