Each year we hold musical auditions for students who would like to perform at convocation. If you are musically inclined and plan to attend the convocation ceremony Friday, April 26, 2024 in the Marriott Center, we invite you to audition with us!

Audition Criteria:

• Soloist or at least one ensemble member must be graduating from BYU Marriott in December 2023, April 2024, June 2024, or August 2024
• Soloist, group ensemble, instrumental, vocal with live accompaniment or recorded track, or a cappella are all welcomed
• Performance quality
• Short (3-5 minutes)
• Uplifting and celebratory in nature. Since this is not a church service, we tend to avoid hymns unless the performance is truly impressive and fits the theme of the event.
• Multiple genres are welcome (pop, classical, contemporary, musical theatre, etc.). No love and romance songs.

Please Note: All auditions will be recorded for further review.
