Scott Ellner

Dr. Scott Ellner practiced as a general surgeon for 20 years before transitioning into healthcare executive roles due to his passion for patient safety, quality, and value-based care delivery. Currently, he serves as the President of INTEGRIS Health Medical Group, the largest employed physician group in Oklahoma, which comprises over 1,000 physicians. Previously, he was the CEO of Billings Clinic, the largest health system in Montana, and he has led large physician groups and clinically integrated networks in major health systems, including Advent Health and Common Spirit Health.

 

In addition to his executive roles, Dr. Ellner is an author and a TEDx speaker. His upcoming book, Wipe Out, Rise Up: A Surf Session in Being a Leader, Pushing Past Limits, and Sustaining Health, is set to be released on Amazon on November 18, 2025. He holds a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management from the Harvard School of Public Health, a Healthcare Law Degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, and he completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of California, San Diego.
