Seraphine Kapsandoy-Jones
Seraphine Kapsandoy-Jones, PhD, RN is the Vice President of Population Health Clinical Innovations and Programs at Centene Corporation. In this role she leverages Centene’s strengths and innovative partnerships to bring new clinical programs to market that fill gaps that are identified in the healthcare industry and further Centene’s whole-health strategy. She was also the former Chief Clinical Information Officer at Intermountain Healthcare, where she partnered with business and clinical leaders to provide strategic vision and leadership to help them leverage industry leading technology to achieve patient care strategic goals and initiatives.
She continues to apply her clinical care, technology, and advanced healthcare education backgrounds to deliver on strategy and projects in support of increasing access to quality healthcare and empower people to live their healthiest lives possible.
Dr. Kapsandoy-Jones’s nursing and clinical informatics experience including, cardiovascular clinical programs, medical surgical, wound/enterostomal therapy, trauma and transplant, emergency, and rapid treatment. She has experience in integrating new HIT software across large, complex hospital systems and managing multi-disciplinary teams. She is also an associate professor at the University of Utah, College of Nursing. She received her PhD in informatics and her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Utah.
