Lydia Sheffield
Lydia grew up in Chicago, Illinois and Highland, Utah. She graduates in April with her master's degree in accounting. She has served as the president of the Women in the School of Accountancy club for 2 years. Lydia feels passionate about addressing unique issues that professional women at BYU face. She leads a committee of 14 students in planning 5-7 formal and casual events each year for the 180 women in the accounting program and those considering the accounting major. These events facilitate open discussions addressing student concerns, provide opportunities for students to network with alumni from around the country, and help attract women to the accounting major. She is a recipient of the Kimberly Bateman and Ralph B. Stratford scholarships and a winner of the EY Beam Abroad Case Competition. She has accepted a full-time offer with Deloitte Consulting in New York.
