Frank Crespo is the Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer for Indigo, a leading agriculture company that is using microbiology and technology to improve sustainability, profits for growers and consumer health. Indigo has been recognized by CNBC's annual Disruptor 50 as the #1 (2019) and #3 (2020) private venture-backed companies transforming the economy and the way we live.

Formerly, Frank was the Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer for Caterpillar Inc. and was responsible for leading Caterpillar's procurement and logistics functions, ensuring a lean and responsive global supply network for products, parts and services delivered to Caterpillar facilities and the company's dealer network.

Prior to joining Caterpillar in August 2010, Frank worked at Honeywell International, Inc., where he was Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer with responsibility for setting strategic direction, developing and managing the supplier base, driving supplier alliance relationships and building and delivering people excellence within the organization.

Frank is a native of Pittsburg, California. He received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School. He brings more than 20 years of high-tech industry and military procurement and business experience to Caterpillar.

Frank also serves in various professional leadership and community service roles:
